Warwick Tourism & Events Pty Ltd (WTE) is a professional tourism/events organisation responsible for the coordination and facilitation of the Warwick community-based tourism development program. Working with local associations, tourist operators, local business, event organisers, local councils/authorities, and Regional Tourism Authorities, WTE develops creative and effective tourism/event products and local promotional campaigns to convey tourism and event information through the Southern Downs Tourist Association mediums and networks. WTE motivates and encourages the local community to embrace tourism/event opportunities, which will confidently contribute to the growth of the Warwick economy.

WTE leads a local quality Tourism Program delivering high quality tourism experiences to Warwick visitors though continuous improvement, evaluating and assessing community hospitality and proceedings, developing tourism infrastructure and products, providing constructive reviews, effectively coordinating an Events Calendar and providing locals with valuable information pertaining to current Quality Standards.

Our Mission

‘In partnership with the community, business, Tourism Authorities and the Southern Downs Regional Council, WTE will encourage tourism and event development, work  to improve service and retail quality and actively promote the Warwick and surrounding areas as a ‘must see’ tourism destination within the South East Country Region’.
